Problem
What's the difference between addon, parked, and subdomains? Also, how do I set them up?

Solution
An addon domain is a fully functional domain that can be created from your cPanel account. Once it's created it will have it's own email address, and it's own folder from within the public_html directory. Users will not see the domain as www.yourdomain.com/addon_domain, but rather www.addon_domain.com. This feature is how clients may host multiple domains on their accounts.

Addon domain URLs look like www.domain.com, subdomain URLs look like forum.domain.com, cat.domain.com, etc. domain.com; the www is replaced with anything you want. Parked domains are a place holder site. You park it on top of another site and it becomes a single page of the site you park it on.
